Maths in a Box: Practical, self-directed, hands on maths activities.
Our Maths Program is built around some excellent hands-on resources, including our iPads, iMaths Program and “Maths in a Box”. These programs cover a wide range of mathematical concepts, and cater for multiple ability levels. We will work on a daily basis to reinforce the value of quick and accurate mental computations, as well as consolidating our knowledge of times tables. Some of the focus areas for this term will include factors and multiples, rounding to 100 and 1000, using the four operations, place value beyond millions, multiplication 4-digit x 1-digit and 3-digit x 2-digit, and division 3-digit ÷1-digit.
